Bold and the Beautiful: Jack Wagner Talks Nick and Brooke’s Reunion

The Bold and the Beautiful is about to serve up a dramatic twist that fans have been waiting over a decade to see! After more than 13 years away from the show, Jack Wagner is making a grand return as Nick Marone starting Monday, June 16. And this comeback couldn’t come at a better time — Brooke Logan is in a vulnerable spot following her split from Ridge Forrester. So much so, we wouldn’t be surprised if Brooke finds herself close to a breakdown soon.

But there’s a silver lining here: Nick is back with a mission. His main objective? To wake Brooke up from her toxic pattern with Ridge and win back her heart. “That’s it,” Jack Wagner told Soap Opera Digest. And if anyone can do it, Nick certainly has a strong track record. His past relationships — from Bridget Forrester to Pam Douglas — were filled with sparks, passion, and dramatic twists.

Not only do Brooke’s feeling for Nick run deep, but Nick himself is more assured and ambitious this time around. His character has inherited his late father Massimo’s empire and is now a powerful force in the world of business. Jack Wagner described Nick’s newfound confidence as a game-changer. He even teased that this makes his interactions with Ridge more dismissive — adding a humorous twist to their rivalry. “The things that I improvised were… a little shocking.” If you thought Nick was bold back then, just wait and see him now.

As the summer story arc plays out, Nick will show Brooke that her future might lie with him instead of the man she’s gotten back together with countless times. Executive Producer and Head Writer Bradley Bell sees this Brooke and Nick match-up as a potential new beginning. “The script I got today is a little jaw-dropping, this cliffhanger.” So, fans should be prepared for dramatic revelations and a wild ride in the coming months — and we might be seeing much more of Nick when Jack Wagner finds a break from his role on When Calls the Heart.

For those who may not know Jack Wagner’s rich acting history, his first big break came in 1983 when he was cast as Frisco Jones on General Hospital. There, not only did Jack become a household name, but he fell in love with Kristina Malandro, who played Felicia Cummings. His roles afterwards included Warren Lockridge on Santa Barbara, the charming yet sinister Peter Burns on Melrose Place, and of course, Nick Marone on The Bold and the Beautiful from 2003 to 2012. Later, in 2014, Jack landed the role of Bill Avery on When Calls the Heart.

Recently, Jack Wagner made headlines again when he married Michelle Wolf this past June, adding a new chapter to his real-life love story. His return to the world of daytime promises to bring back all the sparks, passion, and chaos fans fell in love with years ago. So stay tuned — Nick Marone is back, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store!
