Fans of The Bold and the Beautiful have had enough of Brooke Logan being dragged back into the same old toxic cycle with Ridge Forrester. Seriously, WTH is going on? The show had Ridge dump Brooke over the so-called advice of a pinecone—yes, a pinecone—and then immediately profess his love to Taylor. And the worst part? He didn’t even bother to let Brooke know what was happening until after everything was already decided. It’s as if Brooke’s feelings don’t matter at all in this storyline.
If that wasn’t bad enough, Bold & Beautiful also had Ridge push Brooke aside for the “crime” of taking over Forrester Creations—idiotic as his reaction was—when all she wanted was to protect the company and give it back to his family. And let’s not forget the major bombshell from the past: Ridge isn’t even Eric’s biological son, but Massimo Marone’s. So why does this man act as if everything, including Brooke’s love life, must revolve around him?
The show still wants us to believe that Ridge is Brooke’s one true destiny, even after everything he’s done? Hard pass. It’s 2025, and women like Brooke deserve so much more than being treated like a backup plan or an emotional punching bag. Watching Ridge toss her aside repeatedly and then watching her grovel for his affection is not romantic—it’s outdated and downright insulting.
This latest episode was painful to watch. When Brooke once again extended an olive branch, trying to give Ridge another chance to reunite, all we could do was groan. Why is a strong, independent woman like Brooke being reduced to a mere accessory for a man who clearly doesn’t appreciate her? What woman in this day and age wants to see someone like Brooke constantly humiliate herself for a guy who can’t even decide what he wants?
Fans have been saying this for years: This isn’t exciting, and it’s definitely not aspirational. It’s just tragic. And not the kind of tragic that makes for good drama, but the kind that makes viewers roll their eyes and wish the writers would catch up with the times.
Brooke should be thriving, running her own empire, and enjoying the attention of someone who truly respects her. Take Nick, for example—he practically worships the ground she walks on. Why isn’t the show exploring that dynamic instead of forcing us back into this tired, repetitive love triangle?
It’s time for Bold & Beautiful to let Brooke break free from Ridge once and for all. Fans don’t want to see her endlessly stuck in this loop of heartbreak and manipulation. She deserves a storyline that highlights her strength, independence, and the fact that she doesn’t need Ridge—or any man—to define her worth. And honestly, we hope Brooke comes to realize that too.
